This month was light for us because we’ve been busy preparing for the Drive-in Movie. Hope you guys can join us! Here’s what Adjacent Space did for July.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was made into law 31 years ago. The law had a significant impact for our nation because it gave basic rights to people with disabilities. Is the law perfect as it is? No, we still have work to do to make this society more accessible and equitable for all.

On August 2 and 3, Angelica and I will attend an ADA virtual conference where we will join different courses and workshops on the ADA law. That conference will help us learn how we can support and serve our communities. We’re excited about this conference and we’ll be sure to share what we learned from this conference!

Recently Adjacent Space received requests for accessibility for Deaf individuals. We’re here to make sure that accessibility is a priority for you. If you aren’t satisfied with accessibility in a certain place, please send us a message via Instagram, Facebook, or email. We want to work with you to improve accessibility for our city for yourself, your friends, and your family.
