Advocating for the recognition of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by promoting the use of open captioning, American Sign Language Interpreters and other visual-tactile tools.
Creating jobs for Deaf Interpreters whose skill is used to create equitable communication and information for the community.
Model the foundation of an accessible and equitable organization by internally using accessible tools, inclusion of diverse perspectives, minority leadership and recognizing where privilege needs to be disbanded.
Creates accessible content for the community.
Actively looks for approaches that create an equitable community through which everyone lives, works and plays.
